The semester is winding down slowly but surely. I have one out of two thesis advisers for my committee and I am excited to take a class with a professor I'm interested in working with in the Spring. On Wednesday, I was advised for my Spring semester classes already and it's wild that we're half way done with the first semester and next Monday, I officially enroll in those Spring courses. This journey continues to grown bigger and bigger each day.

Overall, October has been a good month. I am content. I quit my job that was giving me negative vibes, I promised myself that I will focus on myself and try to do more things for myself. I am learning and I am become even more comfortable with the "grad school" thing. (LOL) I am excited and I am searching and progressing for support and community within Austin. But it seems like everyone is looking for that exact same thing. I think it's just all in the timing of events; but I'm hopeful I'll find a community here I'll gravitate to. But I'm definitely look forward to November because it seems like a busier and exciting month.
